As Whit rounded the corner to present Sarah with her bouquet, his face was priceless.

Wedding Party

Sweet first dance - they sang to each other…

Lots of great emotional dances

Maybe one of my favorite cakes ever. The little bride bird wore a dress made with lace from Sarah’s mother’s wedding dress.

One more dance photo that I love - Whit’s face again is priceless

Leaving for Maui under sparklers

Mark & Chariti, Murfreesboro Wedding at Stones River Country Club

Had a great day with Mark & Chariti on Saturday for their wedding at North Boulevard Church of Christ and wedding reception at Stones River Country Club in Murfreesboro. Here’s a few of my favorite shots and a slideshow for fun!

Makeup at Ulta

Getting hair done at the Country Club

Chariti and Mark chose to do a private moment before the wedding so that we’d have plenty of time for bride & groom photos. I think that was a wise choice and we have tons of great shots to show for it!

Some dancing, with great music by DJ Doug Griffin

Anna & Noah - Downtown Nashville Wedding at War Memorial Auditorium

January 14, 2009 | Filed Under wedding | 5 Comments

We spent the day in downtown Nashville this past weekend for Anna & Noah’s wedding and reception at the War Memorial Auditorium. It’s hard to wrap words around it, but stunning, regal and elegant come to mind.

Anna and her family spent the morning at the Hermitage Hotel, having their makeup done and sharing lots of laughs. Anna’s Rivini gown was from Faccio Bridal in Franklin.

We caught up with Noah ahead of the ceremony so that we had time for some outdoor portraits during daylight.

The rain and cold did not stop us!

There haven’t been many wedding ceremonies at the War Memorial, so it was fun to be in on something unique! Anna & Noah’s guests were seated in the balcony for the ceremony, then came in on the lower level where tables were set for the reception, catered by Monell’s.

We braved the elements again to run outside for a couple of portraits after dark. Love the motion that the wind gave us for this shot with Anna in her veil!

Love this shot just before Noah threw the garter to the boys…

And a gorgeous rose petal exit - my favorite selection for exits!

Check out Anna & Noah’s slideshow below…

Megan & Nick, New Year’s Eve Wedding at Old Natchez Country Club

A few quick picks from Megan & Nick’s wedding on New Year’s Eve…

The girls did hair and makeup at Carol G’s Salon in Cool Springs. They received excellent service and everyone looked beautiful!

After the salon, the girls headed over to Old Natchez Country Club in Franklin to get dressed.

I can’t say enough about how much I love working with Debbie Valentine, Director of Catering & Special Events at the Club. She and her staff are always on top of every detail! I have never seen a ceremony set up indoors and Debbie, along with Angela Sadler, Florist really knocked it out of the park with the candle arrangement and draping.

Loved the bouquets that Angela did as well.

Megan and Nick each braved the freezing cold to do some individual shots outside before the ceremony, and again afterwards for some photos together!

Awesome cake by Publix

After ringing in the New Year, Megan and Nick exited the Club to sparklers and were whisked away to begin their life together!

Thanks for having us along to photograph your big day! More to come soon.
