Celebrating Adoption - Klimek Family

June 17, 2008 | Filed Under celebrating adoption, family | 3 Comments

This sweet family drove in from East Tennessee for a Celebrating Adoption photo session. Mom & Dad were tickled for me to meet little Mr. Lee - a 14 month old sweetheart from Guatemala.

Don’t you know Dad enjoyed his first Fathers Day this year?

Kisses for Mom

Congratulations guys! Thank you for letting me photograph you with your SON!

Robert & McKenzie, 5 Year Anniversary

June 16, 2008 | Filed Under engagement, family | Leave a Comment

I was honored when McKenzie asked me to take some photographs of her and her husband Robert on their 5 year wedding anniversary. I just had no idea that it was going to be gloomy and rainy outside for the morning. We made the best of the weather we had out at Turner Farms and ended up with a sweet collection of images that I think they will treasure.

I love how you can see raindrops coming down if you look closely.

Thanks for hanging in there with me “Brian” and McKenzie (for some reason I kept calling Robert by the name “Brian”). Talk to y’all soon!

Wait until you see how much Hank has grown since his 6 Month Portraits. We were amazed when we compared the two sessions!

And here’s my sweet nephew at 9 Months

Hank, I love you buddy. You are a wonderful boy!

Addie & Jadyn love their tropical garden goldfish shirts from Gymboree. This was the perfect idea to capture them together!

I first photographed Addie Mei in March of last year.

She has really grown into a little lady since then!

Twirling and spinning

Thanks for coming to play, Addie Mei. See you soon.

It’s amazing to me to see all of these sweet babies growing up right before my eyes. Here’s Jadyn last September, when she had just been home with Pat and Amy for 3 months.

And here she is now, after just turning two in April! Amy made this beautiful dress - and I LOVE it.

Amy made this pretty dress too…

Amy’s talents in sewing are soon to be available to the public, so hop on over to her blog to be on the list to own one of her beautiful creations!

Lanie Ann is ONE!

Miss Lanie Ann is ONE. Was it really a year ago that I was snapping pictures like this one?

And now, she’s standing up and talking and taking the world by storm.

And OH she loves her big brother Landon. I love him too!

Lanie Ann, Happy Birthday! Here’s to many more. Love you!

Corwin is ONE

Corwin came today for his one year photo session. One year olds are one of the trickiest ages for studio portraits, in my opinion, followed closely by 18 months and 9 months. Choosing to photograph 3 one year olds and a 9 month old all in two days might actually prove that I am crazy!

Corwin did so great. Can you believe that his mama Tracy made this outfit? I love the ecru edging that she put on it.

My favorite of the whole day

In the outfit both of his big brothers wore in their one year pictures.

One year t-shirt

And devouring a birthday cake!

Tracy & Gary, thank you so much for choosing me to capture Corwin’s first year. It has been a blessing and a privilege!

A glimpse at my days

Being the mother of a one year old is a fabulous way to spend my summer days. Here’s a quick pick of Norah and our newest baby, Simon Peter (4 month old Lab) cooling off in the back yard!
